LEBANON, Tenn. -The Bethel Lady Wildcats opened their soccer season Friday
with a neutral site game at Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee.
The # 11 Marian Knights scored three first period goals and went on to beat the Lady Cats 4-2.
Marian outshot the Cats 17-7 and had an 8-3 advantage in shots on goal.
Audrey LaRue scored both Bethel goals in the second period. Viviana Villalobos was credited with an assist.
Bethel's Estelle Olive recorded four saves in the match.
Marian moved to 4-0-0 on the season and has outscored their opponents 13-2 this year.
Bethel meets Sienna Heights Sunday at 2 p.m. in Lebanon. Sienna Heights lost to Cumberland University 3-0 earlier in the day and is 0-2-0 on the season.
