COLUMBIA, Ky. – The (RV) Bethel Lady Wildcats remained on the road visiting Lindsey Wilson Saturday. The Cats led 53-49 after three quarters but the Blue Raiders outscored Bethel 27-17 in the fourth to win 76-70.
Bethel was coming off an 82-61 loss at Campbellsville Thursday.
Bethel dropped to 13 -6 overall and 0-3 in the Mid-South Conference.
LWC moved to 14-5 and 2-1. The Blue Raiders had upset No. 22 Freed-Hardeman 67-57 Thursday in Columbia.
It was the ninth meeting between the two programs with Bethel holding a 5-4 advantage in the series.
Bethel shot 40 percent from the floor while LWC shot 46 percent from the field. Both squads hit four three pointers. The Lady Wildcats were 14-of-18 from the free throw line and had a 41-35 advantage in rebounding. LWC was 16-of-20 from the line.
The Blue Raiders had a 38-14 margin in bench points.
Aylia Lee and Madison Hart both had double-doubles for Bethel . Lee finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds. Hart had 22 points and 10 boards. Lauren Bryant had 10 points.
Four Lindsey players finished in double figures with Lucy Patterson leading the attack with 18 points.
The Lady Cats return to action Thursday playing host to No. 14 University of the Cumberlands with tip-off at 5:30 p.m. CT.
The Lady Patriots are 14-5 overall and 2-1 in the MSC.
It will be Bethel's first home game since January 6.
