BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats began their postseason play Wednesday in the MSC Softball Tournament. The tournament is being played at South Warren High School in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
In an elimination game, the seventh-seeded Cats saw their season end with a 4-0 loss to eighth seeded Lindsey Wilson.
The Blue Raiders scored a single run in the first, two runs in the fifth and a single run in the sixth.
LWC outhit the Wildcats 11-5. Bethel stranded six runners in the game. The Raiders left nine on base.
Maddie Locke suffered the hard luck loss. Abigail Cruz picked up the LWC win.
Bethel finished their season 21-21. Lindsey Wilson moved to 20-22 and will advance to the double-elimination round Thursday and will play No. 2 seeded Campbellsville at 11 a.m.
