MONTGOMERY, Ala. –The Bethel Lady Wildcats ran their winning streak to four in a row with a 77-65 victory over Faulkner Saturday afternoon in the Faulkner Classic in Montgomery.

The first half was a factor as Bethel led 31-21 at the break.
Madison Hart led Bethel with 20 points and six rebounds.

The Cats moved to 4-2 on the season while Faulkner dropped to 3-3.
Coach Chris Nelson commented, "I am very proud of us coming on the road and getting two wins versus some old conference foes / friends. Both of these squads made the national tournament and we put them on our schedule for a reason. Our team played the way they practiced this week and handled adversity and played with toughness. It's early in the season but we were able to make some serious strides with our team from the first weekend."
The Cats return to action Friday and Saturday in the Freed-Hardeman Classic in Henderson.
Bethel meets Oakwood Friday at 2 p.m. and Oakland City Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
