HATTIESBURG, MS – On the heels of receiving votes in the first regular season edition of the NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the Bethel Lady Wildcats visited No. 3 William Carey Saturday in Hattiesburg.
It was all Crusaders as the home team won 7-0.
WCU scored four goals in the first period and put the match away adding three more scores in the second period.
The Crusaders had a 27-8 margin in shots and a 14-4 advantage in shots on goal.
Bethel dropped to 4-1 while WCU improved to 4-1.
Bethel has a week off before returning home next Saturday to host Missouri Baptist at 2 p.m.
