Lady Cats Fall to No. 1- Seeded Lindsey Wilson in MSC Tennis Quarterfinals

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The No. 9-seeded Bethel Lady Wildcats saw their season end with a 4-0 loss to No. 1- seeded Lindsey Wilson Friday morning in the quarterfinals of the MSC Women's Tennis Tournament being held at Michael O. Buchanon Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

The Cats ended their year with a 9-10 record.

LWC moves on to the semifinals at 20-2 and is ranked No. 8 nationally.

Coach Derrick Hubble was proud of his squad despite the loss. "I am proud of this team and the strides we made this year. We were in a lot of matches that could have gone either way. The effort and the play of our young women was impressive and enables us to keep building a program of excellence."

Coach Hubble added, "I would be remiss not to mention our men's team as well. Our guys fought some adversity but prevailed and gave great efforts. We also improved and are building something special."
