TUPELO, MS – The Bethel Lady Wildcats opened their tennis season Wednesday against No. 4 William Carey in matches played in Tupelo, Mississippi. The Crusaders beat the Cats 7-0.
Despite the loss, Coach Derrick Hubble was pleased with the efforts of each one of his players. "I thought every single young lady competed until the very end of their respective matches. I'm proud of each one of them. Playing a team of the caliber of WCU will only make us better in the long run."
Bethel returns to action Friday at No. 25 Mobile. They will also play Spring Hill after the Mobile match at the Copeland Cox- Mobile Tennis Complex.
