JACKSON, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcat tennis team began the spring portion of their schedule beating Lane College 7-0 Sunday.
Highlighting the match played in Jackson was the effort of freshman Caitlin Comerford who won in three sets. After splitting the first two sets, she won 10-7 in the third set to enable the Lady Cats sweep their match.
Coach Derrick Hubble was pleased with his team's performance. "Caitlin's match was really exciting as she was able to grind out the win. Our young ladies had strong efforts and this was a great way to begin our spring semester. I am excited to watch this squad grow on and off the court."
