MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The (RV) Bethel Lady Wildcats lost for the first time on the season falling to the visiting Campbellsville Lady Tigers 1-0 at Wildcat Stadium Monday night. Bethel fell to 5-1-1 while Campbellsville moved to 6-1. It was Campbellsville sixth straight win. They have outscored their opponents 37-1 during the winning streak.
Campbellsville snapped Bethel's two game winning streak in the series and has a 5-2 margin in games played between the two programs.
The only score in the match came at the 5:34 mark of the second period on a goal by Lady Tiger Hailey Chappell.
Campbellsville outshot Bethel 14-9 and had a 6-5 margin in shots on goal. Bethel's Shanay Ricketts recorded five saves in the match.
The Lady Wildcats return to action Saturday hosting No. 1 William Carey at 1:30 p.m.
