MONTGOMERY, Ala. –After being shutout and falling 4-0 to the Faulkner Eagles in game one of their doubleheader the Bethel Lady Wildcats bounced back with an impressive late rally and beat the Eagles 11-7 in game two in Montgomery Saturday.
The Lady Wildcats finished the day at 25-22 overall and 17-15 in the SSAC. Faulkner completed their regular season at 26-21 and 17-15.
Faulkner outhit Bethel 9-4 in game one. A single run in the fourth and a three run fifth proved to be the difference in the game for the Lady Eagles. Caitlin Perry was the winner for Faulkner while Darcie Gibson suffered the Bethel loss.
Bethel turned the tables in game two. Trailing 7-6 entering the seventh inning the Lady Cats exploded for five runs in the inning to win 11-7. Bethel had four hits in the inning while Faulkner aided the Cats cause with an error. Bethel outhit Faulkner 14-10.

Maddie Cochran picked up the Wildcat win while Ashton Fielding was charged with the Eagle loss.
The two teams meet again Thursday in the SSAC Championship presented by Buffalo Wild Wings.
