Bethel Coach Chris Nelson said, "I am somewhat disappointed in our overall effort. We had good energy in our two exhibitions but it was not there tonight. Brescia fought hard and gave us a good test so I do not want to take anything away from them. I thought Ashton (Hulme) gave us a good spark and I am happy with her play. Dillard is athletic and talented so we must play better tomorrow."

No. 2 Campbellsville beat Dillard 78-69 in the first game of the night. They play Brescia at 2 p.m. Saturday.

The Lady Cats meet Dillard at 4 p.m. Saturday. It will be the first meeting ever versus Dillard.
