DALTON, Ga. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats ran their record to 10-4-1 overall and 5-2 in the SSAC with a 2-0 win at Dalton State Thursday night. DSU dropped to 6-8 and 2-4. Bethel moved to 5-1 in road action this season.
A first period goal by Jodi Butler gave Bethel a 1-0 lead at the break. Janine Dennis scored her league leading 20th goal in the second period. Elvira Martin was credited with assists on both scores.
Bethel had a 6-3 advantage in shots and a 3-1 margin in shots on goal.
The Wildcats close out their regular season Saturday with a 1:30 p.m. match at Faulkner.
