LEBANON, Tenn. –The Bethel Lady Wildcat soccer team dropped to .500 at 3-3 on the season following their 4-0 loss to No. 15 Cumberland University Wednesday afternoon in Lebanon. The Phoenix improved to 4-0 on the year. Bethel still leads the series 6-4 but the Phoenix have won the last four matches between the two.
CU's Rebecca Holloway had the hat trick scoring three of her team's goals.
CU out shot Bethel 19-5 and has a 6-0 margin in shots on goal. The Phoenix had a 7-0 advantage in corner kicks.
CU scored two goals in each period.
The Lady Cats return to action Saturday hosting Lyon College at 1 p.m.
