MCKENZIE, Tenn. –The Bethel Lady Wildcats dropped a doubleheader to Trevecca Tuesday afternoon at Wildcat Field in McKenzie. The Lady Trojans won 6-1 and 5-2.
Bethel fell to 1-7 on the season while TNU improved to 7-3.
In game one the Lady Cats trailed 2-1 but saw Trevecca push across four runs in the seventh to secure the victory. Bethel was outhit in the game 11-4. Emmi Thurmond had two hits and drove in Bethel's only run. Casey Wade was charged with the loss. Savannah Carr picked up the TNU win.
In game two the game was tied at two before Trevecca scored single runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings. Iesha Kizer drove in both Bethel runs. The Lady Trojans outhit the Lady Cats 12-5. Raygn Hall was the winner while Maddie Cochran suffered the Bethel loss.

The doubleheader scheduled for Thursday March 1 at Cumberland Univwersity has been moved to March 11 with games at 1 and 3:30 p.m.
