Volley Cats Win at Williams Baptist
WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats won their first road game of the season and snapped a three-game losing skid with a 3-0 victory at Williams Baptist Tuesday night in Walnut Ridge.
The Cats won 25-15, 25-14, and 25-23.
Katie Pennington had a team high 12 kills. Sara Ulrich led Bethel in digs with 10 while Mackenzie McCammon had eight assists.
Bethel improved to 4-6 while the Eagles dropped their fourth in a row and dropped to 1-13 on the year.
The Lady Cats jump into league play hosting Freed-Hardeman at 6 p.m. Friday. It will be the first of six straight home matches for the Cats.
It will mark the 48th meeting between the two programs. Bethel has won five in a row in the series and has a 24-23 advantage between the two.
