Volley Cats Beat UT Southern in Non-Conference Action

MCKENZIE, Tenn. -The Bethel Lady Wildcats won for the third time in their last four outings with a 3-2 victory over visiting Freed-Hardeman Tuesday night in Crisp Arena.

Bethel won 20-25, 25-17, 25-22, 16-25 and 15-6.

Sami Parker had 24 digs. Dominika Skoneczna finished with 23 kills. Clara Presmanes followed with 15 kills. Gabriela Dominguez had 13 kills. Kennidi Morrison had 17 digs. Setareh Valibeygi had a great match with 37 assists. 

It was the second win of the season over UTS. The Wildcats opened the season with a 3-0 victory in Pulaski back on August 23rd.

The Lady Cats moved to 12-7 and 4-3 at home on the season.

UT Southern dropped to 5-11 on the year.  The Hawks are 1-6 in road action.

Bethel meets Freed-Hardeman on Thursday at 7 p.m. in Crisp Arena.
