Volley Cats Drop Home Match to UC

MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats dropped their fourth straight game Friday night, falling 3-1 to the visiting (RV) University of the Cumberlands Patriots.

The Pats won 25-17, 21-25, 25-21, and 25-21.

Dominika Skoneczna led the Cats with 15 kills and 11 digs. Mackenzie McCammon had 19 assists. Setarah Valibeygi also had 19 assists while Sami Parker had 14 digs.

It was the seventh meeting between the two programs with UC holding a 6-1 lead in the series. Bethel has lost five straight matches to the Patriots.

The Cats are 9-6 overall and 1-4 in the MSC. The Cats are 1-3 at home this year.

The Pats are 24-3 overall and 3-2 in league play. UC has won five straight matches.

Bethel remains at home facing Georgetown Saturday at 3 p.m.
