Volley Cats Take Down Lions in Conference Opener

HENDERSON, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats and the Freed-Hardeman Lady Lions met in Henderson Tuesday night which marked the 46^th meeting between the two rivals. It was the conference opener for the Lady Wildcats.

Bethel won for the fourth straight time in the series with a 3-0 victory. The win evened the all-time series at 23 wins for each program.

The Cats won 25-23, 25-12 and 25-17.

Bethel is 8-2 on the year while the Lions are 5-6.

Cat Highlights:

Dominika Skoneczna had 15 kills. Gabriela Dominguez finished with 15 digs while Setareh Valibeygi continued with 19 assists.

The Lady Cats are back in action Saturday at Crowley's Ridge with action beginning at 1 p.m.
