Volley Cats Wins Opener in Lyon Classic

BATESVILLE, Ark. -The Volley Cats traveled to Batesville, Arkansas Friday to compete in the Lyon Classic.

Bethel won their fifth in a row with a 3-0 victory over Williams Baptist. The Cats won 25-21, 26-24 and 25-10 to move to 6-1 on the year.

Setareh Vailbeygi led Bethel with 21 assists and 11 digs. Gabriela Domiguez had 0 kills. Dominika Skoneczna continued with 10 digs while Sami Parker was solid as always with 16 digs.

The Cats face Mission Saturday at 10 a.m. Bethel wraps up play in the event at noon against host school Lyon at noon.
