Volleyball Captures Third in a Row
PORTSMOUTH, OH- The Volley Cats won their third in a row Saturday with a 3-1 victory at Shawnee State. The Cats won 25-20, 27-25, 17-25, 25-21. Bethel has won six of their last seven matches.
Hannah McGowan led the Cats with 23 kills 16 digs. Nayeli Vilchez had an impressive 49 assists. Sami Parker led the Cats in digs with 20 while Alex Lipsey pitched in with 10 digs.
Bethel moved to 15-5 and 4-4 in the MSC. The Cats continued their dominance on the road moving their record to 7-1 in road action. They are 6-2 in neutral site affairs.
SSU dropped to 8-10 and 3-5.
The Lady Wildcats remain on the road traveling to Pulaski Tuesday to meet UT Southern. Action begins at 4 p.m.
