Volley Cats Win Home Match versus Fisk
MCKENZIE, Tenn. -The Bethel Volleyball team beat Fisk University for the second time on the season Tuesday night. The Cats had beaten the Bulldogs 3-0 in Nashville in late August. Bethel has never lost to Fisk, now leading the series 4-0.
Bethel won 25-16, 25-15, 25-6.
Ashely Sommerfeld and Hannah McGowan led the Cats with 11 kills each. Nayeli Vilchez had another solid performance with 25 assists.
The Lady Cats moved to 13-5 while Fisk dropped to 11-13.
Bethel jumps back into conference action Friday, traveling to Georgetown Friday for a 5:30 CST match.
