Volley Cats Fall in Home Match to UTS

MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Wildcats suffered a disappointing home loss to UT Southern Tuesday night in Crisp Arena. The Cats dropped to 9-4 overall and 1-3 in the MSC. The RedHawks who had lost ten of their last 12 games moved to 6-12 and 1-2.

The Hawks won 25-16, 25-19, 19-25 and 25-14.

Bethel's Hannah McGowan had 12 kills while Nayeli Vilchez had 17 assists.

The teams meet again in Pulaski October 11.

The Lady Cats return to action Thursday traveling to Columbus, Mississippi to meet Mississippi University for Women. Action begins at 4 p.m.
