Volley Cats Mount Furious Comeback but Fall Short in Campbellsville
CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Bethel Wildcats lost their second straight with a tough hard-fought loss at Campbellsville Tuesday night. The Cats fell 16-25, 16-25, 25-21, 25-17,12-15.
With the first set tied at 5-5, the Tigers surged ahead to lead 17-9 and went on to win 25-16. In set two, the Tigers led 11-1 before the Cats battled back to cut the deficit to 14-12. CU rebounded however and went on to win again by nine.
The Cats showed grit and character with wins of 25-21 and 25-17 to even the match at two sets each. Bethel led the decisive set five 11-10 but could not close it out, falling 12-15.

Bethel dropped to 8-3 and 0-2 in the MSC. Campbellsville improved to 6-2 and 3-0.
Bethel returns to action Saturday traveling to (RV) Lindsey Wilson. Action begins at 3 p.m.
