Mid-South Conference Women’s Volleyball Season Awards Announced
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Mid-South Conference announced its 2021 volleyball All-MSC teams and individual honors on Wednesday.
Bethel's Hannah McGowan was named to the 2nd team. Kameshia Moxley earned honorable mention status.
Thomas More's (Ky.) Emily Mohs was named the MSC Volleyball Player of the Year by the conference coaches. Life's (Ga.) Marin Black was selected as the Defender of the Year while teammate Jessie Prichard was the MSC Setter of the Year. Campbellsville's (Ky.) Cierra Merrick was named the MSC Freshman of the Year. Life's Steve Wilcosky was named the Coach of the year while Carlos Soler was named the MSC Assistant Coach of the Year.
The conference coaches voted on the yearly awards along with the all-conference teams. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players.
Fourteen players were selected to both the first and second all-conference teams with seven earning honorable mention.
