Volleyball Wins at MUW

COLUMBUS, MS- The Bethel volleyball team ran their record to 9-12 on the season with a non-conference 3-0 victory at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, Mississippi Thursday night.   MUW dropped to 1-16 on the season

It was the second time this year the Lady Cats claimed a victory over the Owls. They won 3-0 earlier this season in McKenzie.

Bethel won the first set, 25-16. The Cats closed out the second set with a late surge, winning 25-23. The Wildcats hung on to capture set three, 25-20.

Nayeli Vilchez led the Cats with 19 assists. Brookeyln Davis followed with 11 assists. Hannah McGowan had 15 kills while Sami Parker had 12 digs. 

Bethel remains on the road for their next match traveling to Life University Tuesday for a 5 p.m. CST start. They close out their regular season later in the week with a home match Thursday versus Campbellsville and a Saturday afternoon home affair against Georgetown. Saturday's match at 3:30 p.m. will be Senior Day.
