Volley Cats Fall in Straight Sets to Life University
MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Volley Cats played host to No. 12 Life University Friday night in Crisp Arena. The Cats suffered their sixth straight loss as the Eagles won 3-0. Life won 25-16, 25-14 and 25-17.
Bethel dropped to 7-9 overall and 1-8 in the MSC. Life won their 14th in a row and moved to 22-1 and 9-0 in the league. The Eagles are the only undefeated team in conference play.
Brookelyn Davis had 12 assists for Bethel. Hannah McGowan had nine kills while Sami Parker had 14 digs.
The Wildcats are right back in action Saturday traveling to Tennessee Southern for another MSC match-up. Action begins at 4 p.m. The FireHawks are 17-8 and 4-6. They had won five in a row until a recent loss to No. 16 Lindsey Wilson.
