Hard & Close Effort Comes up Short for Volley Cats
COLUMBIA, Ky. –The Bethel Volley Cats traveled to Columbia, Kentucky Tuesday night to face the No. 14 Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders. LWC proved worthy of their ranking with a 3-0 victory.
Bethel took a lead in set one, but the Raiders came from behind to win 25-23. Set two was tight before LWC finished strong to grab a 25-20 win. The Blue Raiders won set three, 25-16.
Bethel dropped to 6-3 and 0-2 in the MSC. LWC won their seventh straight and improved to 12-2 and 5-0.
The two squads will meet again in Crisp Arena on October 19.

The Cats host long-time rival Freed-Hardeman Friday night in Crisp Arena. Action begins at 7 p.m.
