2024 NAIA Women's Tennis All-America Selections Announced

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially announced the 2024 NAIA Women's Tennis All-America teams. Honorees were selected by the NAIA All-America Selection Committee. Sixteen student-athletes were chosen to comprise first, second and third teams.

Bethel's Edissa Hot and Sofia Canto were named to the second team.

Coach Derrick Hubble commented, "Edisa is a special player, in her two seasons she had 33 career wins. This season she finished with 17 wins and was a huge part of the success of the Lady Wildcats. She has been a great leader and showed the freshmen the ropes. Sofia has a wonderful freshmen season. She played #2 and was 15-4 on the season."  

Coach Hubble concluded, "I believe they both deserved to be named All Americans with the great years they had. I'm so proud of them as they continue to grow as players. Edisa will move on to start her career in life. Sofia will be back in a Lady Cat outfit for hopefully three more seasons. I am grateful to coach two young ladies of this caliber; they make me look good on and off the court. They both have great futures."
