Senior Edisa Hot Helps Lady Netters Continue Surge

MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats won their 11th match Saturday beating the visiting Georgetown Lady Tigers at the Dr. Deborah Thompson Tennis Complex.

The Lady Wildcats have received votes for the past three weeks in the   NAIA Women's Tennis Top 25 Poll. After their victory over the Tigers, the Cats are 11-3 on the season.

Part of the success of the team has been the play of Edisa Hot. The lone senior on the squad from Bar, Montenegro has a career record of 24-7 in her two seasons as a Lady Wildcat.

Hot was recognized Saturday on Senor Day.

Coach Derrick Hubble said, "Edisa has been a huge part of our success these past two seasons. She will be greatly missed being the team captain for her final season. She makes everyone around her stronger. She is a very passionate player and is determined to do her very best when called upon."
