Mid-South Conference Women’s Tennis Honors Announced
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Mid-South Conference announced its 2023 women's tennis All-MSC teams and individual honors on Thursday.
Cumberlands' (Ky.) Meiri Okuwaki was named the MSC Women's Tennis Player of the Year while Campbellsville's (Ky.) Miru Nonaka earned Freshman of the Year honors. Cumberlands' (Ky.) Chin Tan was voted the MSC Coach of the Year by his peers. Cumberland's (Tenn.) Anna Kopituk earned Assistant Coach of the Year honors.
Okuwaki highlights the 10-person first team all-conference list conference list selected by the conference coaches. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players. Nonaka highlights the 10-person second team with an additional five players earning honorable mention.
Bethel's Edisa Hot was named to the first team. Tijana Suitlica was named to the second team while Sofija Rajic was named to the honorable mention squad.
