Under the shadows of darkness and under the lights, Sophia Vasconcellos won 6-2, 6-4. Anabella Baralt and Kelsie Seiber both won their matches with the same scores of 6-1, 6-1.

Coach Derrick said, "I am very proud of our young ladies. We now have to prepare ourselves this week to be the best version of us we can be. This was a good weekend that allowed them to get the nerves behind them and get our confidence where it needs to be."

Hubble added, "We have two big challenges coming to town this week in Oakland City and UT Southern. We look forward to being tested in the final matches of the fall. This team is ready for the challenge, it will be the first meeting against Oakland City, and UT Southern being a conference team, will be a good match in it being a rivalry match. I'm excited to see what we are capable of doing."
