Women’s Soccer Blanks Central Baptist

McKENZIE, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats looked to rebound after a disappointing conference loss Friday playing host to the Central Baptist Mustangs in a non-conference battle Monday in Wildcat Stadium.

The Cats did just that with a 3-nil victory over the visitors from Conway.

Cassidy Kerkesner scored at the 50:12 mark on an assist from Kalina Stanisic.

Bethel grabbed a 2-0 lead on a goal by Audrey LaRue at the 61:14 mark. Kerkesner had the assist.

Ainhoa Chirivella scored with 15 minutes left to give the Cats a 3-nil margin. Kelly Nunes was credited with the assist.

Bethel dominated the play with a 35-0 advantage in shots. Bethel had a 13-0 margin in shots on goal.

The Cats moved to 6-2 while CBC dropped to 3-7-2.

Bethel is back in action Wednesday traveling to conference opponent Lindsey Wilson. Action begins at 4 p.m. CT.
