Lady Wildcats Remain Undefeated with Win at LSU-Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, La. –The Bethel Lady Wildcats remained unbeaten with a 3-2 road win at LSU-Alexandria Monday afternoon. The Cats ran their record to 4-0 while LSU-A fell to 2-2 on the season.

Kalina Stanisic scored a first period goal for the Cats. LSU-A tied the match, and the teams went to the break tied at 1-1.

Bethel took the lead at the 72:28 mark on a goal by Elle Carson. Stanisic had the assist. The Lady Cats took a 3-1 margin with a late score by Olivia Kavanagh-Spall. The score came after an assist from Carson. 

The Generals did not go quietly, however, scoring a goal with less than nine minutes left to cut the Bethel lead to 3-2.

Bethel dominated the pitch with a 30-6 advantage in shots and a 17-3 margin in shots on goal.

Bethel returns home to host Texas A & M Texarkana at 5 p.m. Saturday.
