Lady Cats at LCU Ruled No Contest
PINEVILLE, La. -The Bethel Lady Wildcats and the Louisiana Christian Wildcats were tied at 1-1 at the 33:18 mark of the second period Saturday afternoon when lighting delayed the game. After a long delay, the match was ruled a no contest.
LCU took a 1-nil lead at the 33:41 mark on a goal by Louisiana Christian's Maryane Mafra. That was the only score of the first period.
Seven and a half minutes into the second period, Bethel's Elle Carson scored on an assist by Audrey LaRue.
Bethel remains 3-0 on the season.
The Cats remain in the Bayou State with a match at 11 a.m. Monday at LSU-Alexandria.
