2022 Daktronics NAIA Women’s Soccer Scholar-Athletes Released

 KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2022 Daktronics NAIA Women's Soccer Scholar-Athletes on Monday. Siena Heights (Mich.) led the way with 27 honorees. Grand View (Iowa) finished a close second with 25.

Bethel had nine student athletes earn the award.

Maisy Sumner, Allie Chappell, Mariana Espinoza, Ainhoa Chirivella, Elizabeth Carson, Hilda Mayo , Olivia Kavanagh-Spall , Hailey Hibbeler and Rafaela Passos were all named as scholar-athletes.  

The 2022 list features 1,557 student-athletes that achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
