Chacon earns Mid-South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bethel's Durbin Chacon is the Mid-South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.
 
Durbin Chacon – Bethel (Tenn.) – Sr. – Puerto Ordaz, Venezula

• Chacon finished tied for second individually and helped Bethel win the team title at the Tennessee Wesleyan Invitational.
• She posted a two-round total of 5-over par 149 (72-77) to finish one stroke off the lead.
• Chacon recorded four birdies during the two rounds.
• She helped Bethel overcome a two-stroke deficit to win the team title over Midway (Ky.) by two shots.
• Chacon earns her first women's golfer of the week honor this season and the second of her career.
