Bethel Finishes Tied for Seventh in MSC Women’s Golf Spring Tournament

CROSSVILLE, Tenn. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats finished in a tie for seventh in the Mid-South Conference Women's Golf Spring Tournament at Cumberland Mountain Bear Trace in Crossville, Tennessee. The two day 54-hole tournament concluded Wednesday.

Eleven MSC teams consisting of 63 players participated on the par 73, 5, 818-yard layout.

Bethel had a team score of 1064 at 164 over par. The University of the Cumberlands won the team event at 52 over par. 

Bethel's Albane Le Helloco had the best finish among the Lady Wildcats. She was 16th with rounds of 82, 82, 81.

Tessa Myers was in the top 30 with scores of 83, 88, 89. Myers finished 30th in the field.

Hope Homar was 39th with efforts of 92, 84, 90.

Sasha Guinsborg tied for 42nd with rounds of 91, 87, 91.

Samantha McCaslin was 56th after shooting rounds of 108, 98, 111.

Bethel's Durbin Chacon was forced to withdraw because of a wrist injury.

The Medalist for the tournament was UC's Sharon Holczer who finished 10 over par.
