Lady Wildcats Win Tri-Match

BUCHANNN, Tenn. - The Bethel University Lady Wildcat golf team won the Paris Landing Invasion Tri Match with John A Logan and Rend Lake (Ill.) Tuesday.

Bethel finished with a team total of 325. John A Logan shot 357 while Rend Lake finished third at 365.

Bethel's Durbin Chacon birdied four of the last five holes and was the medalist at three over 75. Teammate Albane Le Helloco was runner-up with a 79 and Tessa Myers finished third with an 83.

Sasha Guinsbourg (88) Hope Homar (89) and Samantha McCaslin playing as an individual rounded out the Wildcat scoring.

Coach Larry Joe Smith continues to see improvement from his young squad. "We are getting so much closer to really being where we want to be. I'm proud of each of our young ladies."
