Lady Cats Lead after First Round of TWU Spring Invite

NIOTA, Tenn. – Five Bethel Lady Wildcats placed in the top 20 in first round action of the TWU Spring Invite being held at the Springbrook Golf and Country Club in Niota, Tennessee Monday.

The Cats are in first place in the seven team field. Forty two golfers are competing in the event. Bethel is 37 over par and has a two-shot lead.

Durbin Chacon led the way for the Cats shooting a six over par 78. She is tied for fourth. Albane Le Helloco is eight over (80) and tied for seventh. Sasha Guinsboro finished 11 over (83)and is  tied for 12^th. Tessa Myers and Hope Homar shot 84's  at 12 over and are tied for 18^th.

Final round action takes place Tuesday.
