Bethel’s Shelsea Vera has Lead after 1st Round of TWU Invitational

VONORE, Tenn. – Bethel's Shelsea Vera shot a two over par 74 Saturday in the first round of the Tennessee Wesleyan Invitational being played at The Links @ Kahite in Vonore, Tennessee. With that effort, Vera has a two-shot lead entering the final round Sunday.

Bethel is second as a team at plus 32. They trail Milligan by four shots.

Bethel's Tessa Myers finished in the top ten with a nine over 81. Albane Le Helloco is 13^th at ten over.

The final round will begin Sunday morning in Vonore.
