Lady Linksters Sign Tournament Tested Durbin Chacon

MCKENZIE, Tenn. – Bethel Coach Larry Joe Smith announced the signing of Durbin Chacon Thursday. Durbin is the daughter of Juan Chacon and Angela Marin and will major in Science. She is a native of Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela.

Chacon has played in over fifty tournaments and had several first place finishes. She has consistently remained in a top five position throughout her career. This past season she had two wins and is the National Sub-Champion of Venezuela.

Durbin has represented her country twice in the South American Youth Tournament.

Chacon feels her biggest strengths are her passion and dedication.

Coach Smith commented, "We absolutely love the experience Durbin brings to our young team. She is a wonderful pick-up, and we look forward to working with her and seeing her progress at the collegiate level."
