Mid-South Bowling Regular Season Started this Past Weekend

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The 2023-24 Mid-South Conference men's and women's bowling regular season began with the MSC Greater Nashville Open on Saturday and the MSC Brandon Burns Memorial on Sunday at Smyrna Bowling Center in Smyrna, Tenn.

Each tournament consisted of five team games and 12 Baker games.

The Bethel Women's Bowling team finished 8th out of 15 teams with a total pinfall of 6,342. Chloe Amick finished 9th out of 142 bowlers with a total pin fall of 992 for an average of 198.4. Sydney Gower finished 14th out of 142 bowlers with a total pin fall of 954 for an average of 190.8. Jenna Newton finished 20th out of 142 bowlers with a total pinfall of 931 for an average of 186.2. 

 

 The squad finished 10th out of 15 teams with a total pinfall of 6,015. Amick finished 19th out of 136 bowlers with a total pin fall of 881 for an average of 176.2. Newton finished 30th out of 136 bowlers with a total pin fall of 852 for an average of 170.6.  

 

 The Bethel Men's Bowling team finished 11th out of 17 teams with a total pinfall of 6,815. Jackson Henderson finished 17th out of 187 bowlers with a total pin fall of 1,064 for an average of 212.8. Trey Martin finished 27th out of 187 bowlers with a total pin fall of 1,043 for an average of 208.6. 

 

The Wildcats finished 13th out of 17 teams with a total pinfall of 6,717. Trey Martin finished 24th out of 187 bowlers with a total pin fall of 1,005 for an average of 201.
