Iowa Bound-The Tradition Continues-See the Lady Cats off Tuesday Morning
MCKENZIE, Tenn. – For the 16th time in program history a Bethel Women's basketball team will leave campus and depart for a national tournament appearance.
This year the Lady Wildcats will appear in the Round of 16 of the NAIA Women's Basketball National Championship in Sioux City, Iowa.
Join the Lady Cats as they gather on campus in the lobby of Vera Low at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Fans and supporters are invited to be there and share their love, support, and best wishes as the Lady Cats depart in their quest for a national title.
The No. 1 seeded Lady Cats play Friday versus No. 4 seed Lewis Clark State with tip-off slated for 11 a.m. CT. Bethel is one of five MSC squads in the final round.
The Cats reached the Fab Four last year before falling to eventual national champion Dordt.
During Coach Chris Nelson's tenure as head coach, Bethel has qualified for 14 NAIA national tournaments (2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 2022, 2025, and 2026).
