Bethel (19-2, 4-1) will attempt to bounce back from a rare home loss. The Cats dropped a 73-59 decision Thursday to Freed-Hardeman.
Bethel opened the season with 14 straight wins and eclipsed 80 points nine times. The Wildcats feature remarkable balance across the roster, headlined by sophomore guard Micah Hart, who leads the team with 19.8 points per game on 52.7 percent shooting and an elite 42 percent from beyond the arc. Mikee Buchanan provides another dynamic scoring option at 15.3 points per outing while knocking down 42.5 percent of her threes, and forward Adalyn Koelling has emerged as a highly efficient contributor off the bench at 53.3 percent from the field. Bethel's offense has been particularly dangerous from long range, averaging more than 10 made threes in several marquee wins—including dominant performances against Haskell (Kan.), Texas A&M–San Antonio, and Faulkner (Ala.). Even in their two losses, the Wildcats remained competitive, including a narrow road setback at Tennessee Southern and a defensive battle with No. 2 Freed‑Hardeman. The Wildcats currently have a 7‑1 road record, a 9‑1 home mark, and an experienced core that shoots over 48 percent as a team.
The Cats average 77.5 and yield 60.2 points per game.
The Lady Pats are 17-3 overall and 2-2 in the league. Joy Hendrick leads UC in scoring at 16.6 per game. Lakin Burke averages 10.7 points per outing while Jaydyn Carrico averages 10.3 per game.
UC is coming off a 70-66 home win over Georgetown. The Lady Pats are 12-0 at home this year.
The Lady Cats beat the Patriots 74-69 back on January 8 in Crisp Arena.
Cumberlands leads the all-time series 9-3 but Bethel has won the last three meetings.
