Lady Wildcats Complete Sweep of Tough Road Trip-Hart Joins 1,000 Point Club

COLUMBIA, Ky. — History met hustle Saturday afternoon at Biggers Sports Center as Micah Hart etched her name into the Bethel record books and powered the Lady Cats to an 84–73 road victory over Lindsey Wilson.

Hart reached the 1,000-point milestone in her collegiate career at the 6:34 mark of the first quarter, knocking down a bucket that sparked both the Bethel bench and traveling faithful. From there, the junior guard put on a dominant performance, pouring in a game-high 37 points on an efficient 15-of-23 shooting, including 5-of-6 from beyond the arc, to lead Bethel to another impressive MSC road victory. Hart became the 20th player in program history to join the club. She finished the day with 1, 028 career points.

The Lady Cats (19-1, 4-0) jumped out early, shooting over 60 percent in the opening quarter to take a 24–21 lead after one. Lindsey Wilson answered with an 18-point second quarter to briefly grab momentum, but Bethel responded with poise, clamping down defensively and reclaiming control in the second half.

Hart wasn't alone in the scoring effort. Madison Hart delivered a strong all-around performance with 21 points, six rebounds, two blocks, and two steals, while Mikee Buchanan added 15 points, six boards, and three assists.

Bethel shot an impressive 57.1 percent from the floor and 66.7 percent from three-point range, a key difference down the stretch.

The fourth quarter belonged to the Lady Cats. Bethel outscored Lindsey Wilson 26–16 in the final frame, using timely stops and crisp execution to pull away and seal the road win.

LWU dropped to 15-4 and 2-2. Meadow Tisdale led the Blue Raiders with 24 points and a game high eight rebounds.

Head coach Chris Nelson praised both the milestone moment and his team's resilience.

"Micah reaching 1,000 points is a testament to her work ethic and consistency, but I'm just as proud of how our team handled a tough road environment," Nelson said. "We stayed together, trusted each other, and made winning plays when it mattered most."

With the milestone secured and another conference win in hand, the Lady Cats continue to build momentum as one of the Mid-South's premier contenders—led by a guard who is still adding chapters to an already historic career.

As they move back home, another top ten battle awaits the Lady Cats as Thursday they host Freed-Hardeman at 5:30 p.m. in Crisp Arena.
