Another Tough Task Awaits the Lady Wildcats
COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 2 Bethel Lady Wildcats (18-1, 2-0) await another challenge Saturday as they travel to Lindsey Wilson University to face an unranked but talented and dangerous Lady Blue Raider squad at 1 p.m. in the Biggers Sports Center in Columbia.
The Raiders are 15-3 overall and 2-1 in the MSC. LWU is coming off a 73-69 home victory over No. 5 Freed-Hardeman. Lindsey Wilson is 8-1 at home with their only loss being to the hands of (RV) UT-Southern which gave Bethel their only loss on the season thus far.
The Lady Wildcats are coming off a 76-70 overtime victory over No.3 Campbellsville Thursday in Campbellsville.
Bethel leads the all-time series 10-6. The Lady Cats are 4-2 in games played in Columbia. Bethel has won the last two meetings in the series.
