Bethel’s Mikee Buchanan Named MSC Offensive Player of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bethel University's Mikee Buchanan has been named the Mid-South Conference Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Mikee Buchanan – Bethel (Tenn.) – Fr. – Forward – Paducah, Kentucky

● Buchanan averaged 18 points per game while splitting her two games on the week. She would add 2 assists and 6 rebounds.

● Her 22 points sparked the Lady Cats to an 81-63 upset win over No. 6 Cumberlands. She was 15-of-28 from the field on the week.

● Rounding out the season for Bethel, Buchanan earns her first honors of the season.
