Senior Day Finds Lady Cats Hosting Cumberlands
MCKENZIE, Tenn. – The No. 14 Bethel Lady Wildcats will close out their regular season Saturday hosting No. 6 Cumberlands (KY) at 1 p.m. in Crisp Arena. It will be Senior Day as the Cats honor Brooklyn Williams, Kalynn Howard and Kyla Taylor in pre-game ceremonies beginning at 12:40 p.m.
The No. 14 Lady Cats are 19-7 overall and 4-7 in the Mid-South Conference. Bethel has lost three straight but hopes being home will be an advantage as they are 170-41 all-time in the arena which opened in 2012. The Cats are 7-3 at home this year. The Cats fell to No. 11Georgetown 65-56 Thursday night in Crisp.
UC beat Bethel 79-74 back on January 18 in Williamsburg.
Cumberlands leads the all-time series 9-0.
The No. 6 Patriots are 24-3 overall and 10-1 in the MSC. The Pats had an impressive 70-52-win Thursday at No. 7 Freed-Hardeman.
