Bethel’s Micah Hart Earns Conference Player of the Week Award

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Georgetown College's Teionni McDaniel (Offensive) and Bethel University's Micah Hart (Defensive) have been named the Mid-South Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week, announced conference officials on Monday.

Micah Hart – Bethel (Tenn.) – Fr. – Guard – Yorkville, Tennessee

• Hart had an impressive week as she contributed to a 3-0 week for the Wildcats. Hart totaled 8 steals, 8 rebounds, and a block on the week.
• Hart played well both ways, as she averaged 20 points on the week. She had a week high of 28 points against Simmons (Ky.). 
• She shot 47% from the field and 38% from 3-point land. This earns her first defensive honors of the season.
