Lady Cats Fall at Lindsey Wilson

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats dropped their fifth straight with a 66-51 loss at Lindsey Wilson Thursday night. The Cats dropped to 5-5 overall and 1-3 in the MSC. LWC improved to 5-4 and 1-4 in the league.

Bethel trailed 32-29 at the half but The Blue Raiders extended their margin to 50-40 after three quarters and the Cats could never close the gap. The Wildcats hit 13 of 16 free throw tries.

A cold shooting night did the Cats in again as they shot 32 percent from the floor. Bethel hit just four of 24 three-point attempts.

LWC shot 41 percent from the field and connected on seven three-pointers.

Madison Hart led Bethel with 16 points and nine rebounds. Keely Morrow had 12 points. Kyla Taylor pulled down nine boards for the Wildcats.

Lucy Patterson had a game high 17 points for the Raiders. Patterson also had a game high 15 rebounds.

Bethel travels to No. 3 Campbellsville Saturday. Tip-off is slated for noon CST.
